Looking for something new to read in between episodes of Ruby Skye, P.I.? The O’Deary Library has you covered. Here, we’ll show you book reviews by some of our favorite reviewers, and you can decide for yourself if you want to check out the books!
All you detective-lovers out there are in for a treat: booktuber TheBoondoogle reads and reviews A Study in Scarlet, the famous Sherlock Holmes book by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle! This is the very first Sherlock Holmes story, and was the basis for the first episode of the BBC’s Sherlock series, “A Study in Pink”. It tells the story of the very first meeting between the detective Sherlock Holmes and Dr. John Watson. So if you want to see where it all began, you’ll definitely want to check out this book!
You know what to do: read the book, watch the review (and maybe watch Sherlock, too, because it’s really an amazing television show). And don’t forget: you can also take a look at lots more reviews and videos at TheBoondoogle’s channel, found here. Remember to subscribe, too!
