Video Book Review: Stephen Chbosky’s “The Perks of Being a Wallflower”

Looking for something new to read in between episodes of Ruby Skye, P.I.? The O’Deary Library has you covered. Here, we’ll show you book reviews by some of our favorite reviewers, and you can decide for yourself if you want to check out the books!

Booktuber Jennifer Fahy takes on Stephen Chbosky’s powerful coming-of-age tale, The Perks of Being a Wallflower. This intense novel follows Charlie’s attempts to navigate the trials and tribulations of adolescence – all while coping with the pain of mental and psychological illness. This book is definitely for a slightly older youth audience, but it’s really an amazing story! Oh, and it was also made into an amazing movie this year, so check that out, too.

You know what to do: read the book, watch the review. And don’t forget: you can also take a look at more reviews and videos at Jennifer Fahy’s channel, found here. Remember to subscribe, too!

You can also check Jennifer out on Tumblr and Twitter, so make sure you follow along for more cool stuff!
