Reliving the Ghostly Ghouls of the O’Deary Library – Part 1
Now that you know the history of the library it’s time to delve into the Ghostly Ghouls that haunt our stacks.
Part 1 of 25 — we’ll be counting down to Halloween with this ghoulish tales.
The O’Deary Library is one spooky place, that’s for sure! Most of the terrifying, paranormal activity that the library is known for seems to come directly from the members of the O’Deary family themselves, too. This family has a loooong history of creepiness. Just how long, you say? Well, that’s where I come in: I’m going to tell you!
Dating all of the way back to the early 1800s, the library has grown famous (or infamous) for its peculiar, supernatural phenomena. Though the story goes much further back (don’t worry, we’ll get there!), most people seem to point to the mysterious death of Gregory Gothika as the beginning of all the weirdness.
